MUSIC – An extraordinary show. Four years after her last concert, Beyoncé returned to the stage in Dubai for the inauguration of a luxury hotel, the Atlantis The Royal, this Saturday, January 21.
The private concert, held in front of some 1,500 VIP guests, lasted about an hour and a half, according to some media present on site, such as Variety. While spectators were urged to put their phones away, some images still leaked on social media.
From the costumes to the decor, including the choreography, the show had everything of a theatrical production, reports variety. According to GQ Middle East, the star received $24 million for this performance.
Beyoncé, who changed three times, did not perform songs from her latest album, but some of her biggest hits, such as Crazy In Love, Naughty Girl, Beautiful Liar (without Shakira) Halo or Countdown.
